Riya had always dreamed of becoming a business woman and a director, ever since she was a little girl. She loved watching movies and documentaries, and she admired the women who led successful companies and organizations. She wanted to be like them, to make a difference in the world with her ideas and vision.

However, life was not easy for Riya. She grew up in a poor family in Lucknow, where opportunities were scarce and education was expensive. She had to work part-time jobs to help her parents and siblings, while also studying hard to get good grades. She managed to get a scholarship to attend a college in Delhi, where she majored in business administration and minored in film studies. She hoped that her degree would open doors for her in the future.

But after graduating, Riya faced another challenge: finding a job. She applied to many companies and film studios, but she was either rejected or ignored. She felt frustrated and hopeless, as she watched her classmates and friends get hired or start their own ventures. She wondered what she was doing wrong, what she was lacking, what she needed to do to succeed.

One day, she received an email that changed her life. It was from a woman named Nisha, who was the founder and CEO of a successful e-commerce platform called Shoppy. Nisha had seen Riya’s business plan online, and she was impressed by it. She invited Riya for an interview, and offered her a job as a business analyst at Shoppy.

Riya was overjoyed. She accepted the offer without hesitation, and packed her bags to move to Mumbai, where Shoppy’s headquarters were located. She was excited to work for Nisha, who was one of her role models and mentors. She was eager to learn from her, and contribute to Shoppy’s growth and impact.

It was an online video platform that would showcase original content related to Shoppy’s products and services, such as reviews, tutorials, testimonials, interviews, stories, etc. Nisha wanted Riya to be the director of Shoppy TV.

Riya was speechless. She could not believe what she heard. She asked Nisha why she chose her for this role.

Nisha smiled and said: “Because you have the vision and the talent that I need for this project. You have shown me that you are not only good at business analysis, but also at storytelling. You have a knack for creating engaging and informative content that connects with the audience. You have also demonstrated your leadership and management skills by leading some of the teams and projects at Shoppy. I think you are the perfect person to direct Shoppy TV.”

Riya felt tears in her eyes. She thanked Nisha for trusting her and giving her this opportunity. She accepted the role with gratitude and excitement.

She could not wait to start working on Shoppy TV. She knew it would be challenging and demanding, but also rewarding and fulfilling. She knew it would be a chance to fulfill her dreams of becoming a business woman and a director.
